I am Maja - Certified Yoga Teacher and Cupping Therapist.
To practice with me, you don’t have to have a certain body type. You don’t have to have mastered all the yoga poses, and you definitely don’t have to be a “zen” person. All you need to do is show up for yourself.
Just as you are today, and you will notice a shift in your wellbeing.
I am here to support you in reconnecting with yourself and letting go of what no longer serves you.

With over 20+ years of practicing yoga and meditation, I have spent the past 10 years deepening my knowledge and honing my craft to create this space for you, and for me.
Through the practice of Yoga, Meditation, and Sound Therapy we learn to come back to our truest self.
My aim is to create a safe space of compassion, connection, and joy for you to move your body and create the shift that you want for your mind.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha is a foundational yoga practice which involves holding poses for several breaths, allowing for deeper focus and alignment of the body. A slower paced practice focusing on foundational poses, improving posture, strength, flexibility, and mental clarity.
Yoga Nidra
Deeply restorative guided meditation also known as Deep Rest or Yogic Sleep. Meaning the mind is conscious and aware while the body enters total rest. It’s a guided practice, lying down, moving your attention to different body parts. It helps reduce anxiety, burnout, alleviates insomnia, chronic pain, and promotes deep healing without physical effort.
Vinyasa Yoga
Dynamic and creative yoga flow, synchronising breath with movement. Transitioning seamlessly between poses, each movement connected to breath acting as a moving meditation. Increases strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular health.
Yin Yoga
Slow paced Yin provides a necessary contrast to our high-intensity workouts and lifestyle, creating recovery for both body and mind. Using props to support the body and holding poses for 2-5 minutes, releasing fascia, tension and increasing overall range of motion, while activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Improving energy, mindfulness, and sleep.
Restorative Cupping
A class developed to release tension and recover injuries combining Curam cups and Restorative yoga. Using props like bolsters, blocks, and blankets to support the body and release muscular effort. Poses are held for 5 - 10 minutes. Improving sleep, increasing circulation, lowering blood and boosting the immune system. Suitable for all levels, including beginners, elderly, and those with injuries.

Sound Bath
Sound Meditation - Practiced lying down, allowing for a deep release of the body and mind.
An ancient and therapeutic practice, using vibrational frequencies from Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, and gongs to deeply relax the body, balancing the nervous system, and allowing us to release what no longer serves us.
Private Cupping Session
60 minutes session
This session is for first time visits, spending some extra time getting to know your medical history, injuries, problem areas etc.
What to expect:
Increasing blood circulation and reducing inflammation in your body
Reducing muscle tension and stiffness
Promoting faster healing to injuries
Addressing your focal point for example; treatment of headache, migraine, sciatica pain, lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain.
When to avoid cupping:
Cupping is not for you who is going through a cancer treatment, just started with blood thinners, or in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Private Cupping Session
45 minutes session
This session is for you who has been to your first session and you are looking to continue treating your problem areas, injuries, etc.
What to expect:
Increasing blood circulation and reducing inflammation in your body
Reducing muscle tension and stiffness
Promoting faster healing to injuries
Addressing your focal point for example; treatment of headache, migraine, sciatica pain, lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain.

Yoga and Sound Classes can be cancelled and fully refunded up to 6 hours before start. Any Events or Private Sessions can be cancelled and fully refunded latest 12 hours before start through http://peach.nu/c/dearbodymind .
The 6 or 12 hour time is to allow someone else to book your spot.
Late cancellations and No-shows, will be charged full price.

You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, but studio mats and props are available for use. Please clean them after use with the provided sanitizers.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts. We lock the entry door during the class, so please be on time. Enjoy a cup of tea & find your mat while you wait.

We have a very limited amount of spots per class so if a class is fully booked, you can send us an email, or contact us on the form below and we will notify you by email if a spot opens up. Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible.

Loose clothing so that you feel comfortable practicing yoga but also can reach to place the cups on your legs and back.

Our studio has no showers or changing rooms, it is still as much a creative space as it is a wellness studio. We do have a toilet where you also can change if needed.
